Dream Job

LANDSCAPER

I don't know anything about landscaping but I love nature, I love gardening, I love plants, and I love working with my hands so it sounds like an awesome job. However our society judges people on titles and land scaper isn't high on the list. haha.

So, I'm going to go to college to become a teacher. I picked that route because I figure it would give me a chance to learn more about things I should've paid attention to the first time around(history, english, etc.) Also, if I don't choose to go that way in my career, it's still useful knowledge that would make me a more well rounded person.

Regardless of I choose to do, I'd like to see some more of the world so I might take some time off after school to travel. You only live once, right?

Sami, you've got the right attitude. As long as you know that there's always something to learn, you can't go wrong.

If you like animals, being outside, and landscaping check out SUNY college of Enviornmental Science and Forestry (ESF) in Syracuse. They have majors ranging from Environmental Biology to Wildlife Science to Landscape Architecture to Aquatic Fisheries. The Landscape Architecture program is amazing there, it is worth a look! check out their website.
